Former Italian coach Enzo Bearzot died on Tuesday, 21 December 2010 aged 83

Bearzot, who led the team to the 1982 World Cup title, died on Tuesday, 21 December 2010 aged 83, the Italian football federation (FIGC) said. News reports said that Bearzot was ill for several years and died in Milan. The former Inter Milan player Bearzot was in charge of the Squadra Azzurra for a record 104 matches 1975-1986. The World Cup title 1982 in Spain, 3-1 over West Germany in the final, was his biggest success. "The memory of Enzo Bearzot can not be limited to the joy he gave us in 1982 ...
